Aniline Leather Characteristics*: As leather is a natural product, different parts of the hide absorb varying amounts of the dye used in the tanning process, resulting in unique shade variations in the end product. Tones, shades, and pigmentation will vary from hide to hide and are subject to change from piece to piece. We embrace the quirky nature of these variations in shade and tone, rather than producing corrected-grain leathers, which results in an over-exposed, uniform look. Our handcrafted pure Aniline premium leathers are expertly dyed to preserve the natural, rustic beauty that makes each upholstered piece unique.
